RSSB LDC & JA Recruitment 2026 for 10,644 Posts | Apply By February 13

The RSSB, Jaipur released notification via Advertisement Number 06/2026 on January 12, 2026, for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerks (LDC) (Clerk Grade II) and Junior Assistants in various departments of state government.

The application form is available on the official website of the RSSB, Jaipur, from January 15, 2026. If you are interested in being appointed to the LDC or JA position, please note that the last date to apply is February 13, 2026. Early is recommended to avoid the last minute rush.

The recruitment is for those candidates who cleared the Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2024 for 12th Level. Here, we have shared the number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, application fee, selection process, pay scale, how to apply and much more.

Overview 

Number Of Vacancies 

The RSSB, Jaipur, has announced a total of 10,644 vacancies of which 90 vacancies are for the Lower Division Clerk and 10,554 vacancies are for Junior Assistant. You can check the department-wise wise number of vacancies for each position from the table given below.

Clerk Grade-II (LDC)

Junior Assistant

There is no LDC (Clerk Grade II) position for the TSP region; you can check the category wise number of vacancies by downloading the advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Clerk Grade II or Junior Assistant post, it is necessary that you are eligible. By reading the following points, you can determine whether or not you are eligible to apply for this vacancy.

• You must have passed the Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test 2024 for 12th Level.
• You must have passed your 12th Class examination with any stream from any recognized board.
• You hold a DPCS Certificate, Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Computer Applications, or RS-CIT Certificate.
• Your age should be between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2027. The upper age limit for women is 45 years.
• For SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates who are residents of Rajasthan, a five-year age relaxation is applicable.

Whether you are a resident of Rajasthan or not, you can apply for this, but remember that only residents of Rajasthan can avail of the reservation benefits.

Application Fee

It is mandatory to pay the application fee to submit the application for appointment to the LDC or JA post. 

• The application fee is ₹600 for candidates from outside Rajasthan and those who are residents of Rajasthan but belong to the UR, EWS, OBC, MCB and EBC.
• If you are a resident of Rajasthan and belong to the SC, ST, or PWD category, you will only have to pay ₹400 as application fees.

You can use a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI to make the payment of the application fee.

Selection Process

The selection process for appointment to Lower Division Clerk (Clerk Grade-II) and Junior Assistant positions under various departments of the Rajasthan government consists of two stages, which are a written examination and a typing test.

All applicants will be called for the written exam, and those who will pass the first stage of the selection process will be called for the skill test. Following this, the RSSB, Jaipur, will prepare a final selection list based on the written exam marks.

The skill test is qualifying in nature, note that after the release of the merit list for the LDC and JA, candidates will have to participate in the Document Verification, which will take place shortly after the written exam result release.

Exam Date 

As per the notification released by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur, the written exam for the position of LDC (Clerk Grade-II) and JA is all set to take place on July 5 and 6, 2026, across the country at various exam centres.

Exam Pattern 

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur will conduct the written exam in offline mode using the OMR sheet. There will be two papers, whose details are available inside the table.

The question-type is objective, there is no provision of negative marking, ⅓ of the question’s weightage will be deducted for incorrect response. The medium of the written exam in English and Hindi. 

Pay Scale

If your name appears in the final selection list, you will be placed under a probation period of two years after your appointment, during which you will receive a fixed salary. After two years, your salary will be based on the Level 5 pay scale, which ranges from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300.

The figure mentioned above is the basic pay under the 7th Central Pay Commission. In addition to this, you will receive dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and other benefits provided by the Government of Rajasthan.
