RLBCAU Vacancy 2026 for 75 Posts, Apply For Statutory, Teaching & Non-Teaching Postions!

The Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, has officially released a notification on January 21, 2026, for recruitment to various statutory, teaching and non-teaching positions and has invited eligible candidates to apply.

The application form for RLBCAU Recruitment 2026 has been made available from January 22, 2026, and will remain available on the official website until February 21, 2026. All eligible candidates can submit their applications through the web portal.

Eligibility Criteria 

We have listed the eligibility criteria for the available statutory, non-teaching and teaching positions under the RLBCCU below. You can check which positions you are eligible to apply for by reading the points given below.

Registrar

1). Essential Qualification

You have pursued a master’s degree in a subject or stream from a government recognized institution with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

2). Experience:

You have any of following experience:

• 15 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor (AGP ₹7000+), which included 8 years as Associate Professor (AGP ₹8000+), with experience in academic administration.
• Comparable experience in a research institute / higher education institution.
• 15 years administrative experience, out of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.

3). Age Limit

• Upto 57 years

Dean, College of Veterinary & Animal Science 

1). Essential Qualification

• You must have pursued B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks, Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science with 55% marks, and Ph.D. in Animal or Veterinary Science or related basic sciences.
• You have registered yourself with State Veterinary Council / Veterinary Council of India

2). Experience

You must have:

• Minimum 15 years teaching or research experience,
• At least 5 years as Professor or equivalent, and
• Proven research publications.

3). Age Limit

• Upto 57 years

Assistant Registrar 

1). Essential Qualification

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks from any recognized institution, and good academic record.

2). Age Limit

• Upto 40 years

Associate Professor

A. For disciplines OTHER than Veterinary Sciences

1). Essential

• You have completed Ph.D. in relevant subjects, and eight years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or equivalent; and you have research or teaching contributions with published papers or books.

2). Age Limit

• Upto 47 years

B. For Veterinary Sciences disciplines

1). Essential

• You have completed B.V.Sc. & A.H. with 55% marks, Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science with 55% marks, and registered with the SVC/VCI.
• Other requirements similar to non-veterinary disciplines.

2). Age Limit

• Upto 47 years

Assistant Professor

A. For disciplines OTHER than Veterinary Sciences

1). Essential

• You have master’s degree in relevant subject with at least 60% marks, and 
• You have qualified NET (ICAR-ASRB / UGC / CSIR); or completed Ph.D. with 2 research papers (NAAS > 4.0).

2). Age Limit

• Upto 40 years

B. For Veterinary Sciences disciplines

1). Essential

• You have pursued B.V.Sc. & A.H. with 55% marks, Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science with 60% marks, qualified NET or completed Ph.D. with 2 research papers (NAAS > 4.0), and registered with the SVC/VCI.

2). Age Limit

• Upto 40 years

Application Fee

In order to apply for any statutory, teaching or bon-teaching position at RLBCAU, Ranchi, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. Refer to the table below to check what you are required to deposit in order to apply for any post.

Female aspirants are exempted from the payment of the application fee. Male candidates must note that after depositing the required amount it won’t be refunded under any circumstances.

Pay Scale

As per the notification released by the RLBCAU, Jhansi, the pay scale under the 7th CPC is given below for each position. Refer to the table below to check the minimum to maximum basic pay you will receive during the job period.

In addition to basic pay, you will also receive the dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and other benefits from the Government of India.
