The Odisha State Population Control Board has officially released a notification on January 20, 2026, for recruitment to various Group B and Group C posts and has invited eligible candidates to apply through their official web-portal.
The application form for the OSPCB Recruitment 2026 is available with the release of notification from January 20, 2026, 11:00 am, and the window to apply for the same is all set to be available until February 11, 2026, 05:00 pm.

OSPCB Vacancy 2026
As per the notification by the OSPCB, there are a total number of 113 vacancies for Group B and Group C positions. Out of which, 54 for Group B posts, and 59 for Group C posts. Refer to the table below to check the post-wise number of vacancies.

Additionally, you must have studied Odia as a language subject in Class VIII, or have passed the Matriculation exam with Odia as medium of examination for a non-language test, or have passed Odia in Middle school standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha.
Age Limit
- You age shouldn’t be below 21 years, the upper age limit is 40 years as of January 1, 2026.
- The upper age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for all female aspirants, and male candidates who belong to SEBC, SC, ST, and ESM and 10 years for all male and female fall under PwBD category.
OSPCB Group B & Group C Selection Process 2026
The selection process for the OSPCB Recruitment 2026 consists of two stages, which are Written Exam and Interview. After receiving the application from the eligible candidates the Odisha State Population Control Board will call applicants for the Written Exam.
For each vacancy, five times the number of candidates will be called for the interview and document verification, where you have to carry the original and xerox copy of all required documents. After the interviews are conducted, a final selection list will be prepared.
A weightage of 90% and 10% will be given to the written examination and interview, respectively, for the OSPCB Group B & Group C Recruitment 2026. Those whose overall score is equal to or higher than the cut-off mark for the respective category will be shortlisted for appointment.
OSPCB Group B & Group C Written Exam 2026
The Odisha State Population Control Board has not officially announced the date for the written examination to be held for various Group B and Group C posts, but it is likely that the exam will be conducted towards the end of the first quarter of 2026.
For your information, the exam for all positions will be conducted in online mode, with a duration of 90 minutes. A total of 90 multiple-choice questions will be asked, each carrying one mark. 0.33 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The medium of the exam will be English only.

According to the notification released by the Odisha State Population Control Board, the pay scale for Group C posts is Level 4, and for Group B posts, it is Level 9 and Level 10. Further details can be found in the tables below.
