Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the IOCL Pipeline Division Apprenticeship 2026, you are required to meet the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, educational qualification, and age limit.
Nationality
- You are an Indian citizen, and live on any state or union territory.
Educational Qualification
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (3 years).
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (3 years).
- Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation): Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunication / Instrumentation related branches (3 years).
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant–Human Resource): Bachelor’s Degree.
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass.
- Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): 12th Pass + Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator.
The minimum requirement in qualifying exams for UR, OBC, and EWS is 50% score as aggregate; and the same for SC, ST and PwBD is 45%.
Age Limit
- Your age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 24 years as of January 31, 2026.
- The upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 5 years for SC and ST category candidates.
- There is additional age relaxation for 10 years for PwBD category candidates.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the Apprenticeship under the IOCL Pipeline Division, you needn’t to deposit any application fee. All male and female candidates are expected from the payment of application fee, whether they belong to any category.
Selection Process
The selection process for the engagement of Apprentice under the Pipeline Division under the IOCL consists of a single stage, which is shortlisting. Individuals are going to be shortlisted for the Apprenticeship based on their performance in the qualifying examination.
Stipend
Candidates who will be shortlisted for Apprentice under the Pipeline Division of IOCL will get the monthly stipend. It is deposited on qualification and trade type, whose details are as follows.
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma Holders): ₹8,000/-
- Trade Apprentice / Graduate Apprentice: ₹ 9,000/-
- Data Entry Operator / Domestic Data Entry Operator: ₹7,000/-
