Application Fee

Selection Process
The selection process for the Indian Navy SSC Officer January 2027 course consists of three stages, which are Shortling, SSB (Service Selection Board) Interview and Medical Examination.
- Shortlisting: It will be done based on the applicants’ performance in the qualifying exam. Those candidates who score well in the qualifying exam will definitely be shortlisted for the SSB interview.
- SSB Interview: It is a five-day process that includes two components: the first is a Screening Test, and the second consists of Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, and a Personal Interview.
- Medical Examination: It is the final stage of the selection process, and only those candidates selected by the SSB will be able to participate. It will be conducted according to the standards of the Indian Navy.
Notes:
- Candidates who are shortlisted will receive details regarding the SSB Interview on their registered email address and mobile number, including both the date and venue.
- To participate in the SSB interview, applicants will need to download their call letter and make a print copy to carry it to the venue, which they can access through their candidate login.
- For the Indian Navy SSC (Short Service Commission) Officer course starting in January 2027, only those candidates who qualify the medical examination will be shortlisted.

Pay Scale
If you are shortlisted for the Indian Navy SSC Officer January 2027 course, you will be appointed as Sub Lieutenant. The pay scale for this position comes under the Level 10 of 7th CPC, whose monthly basic pay starts from ₹56,100.
