The Danish Refugee Council has set the following eligibility conditions for the post of Head of Financial Planning and Analysis:

• You must have obtained a degree in business management, accounting, finance, or another related field.
• You must have 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and have a proven leadership and responsibilities record.
• You must be familiar with ERP systems, BI tools, and automation, and have strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• You should have experience in leading people and be fluent in English. 
• You must have excellent communication, management, and strategic skills for smooth operation. 
• If you have experience working in international NGOs or multi-country organisations, you will be preferred for this position. 
• If you know Spanish, Arabic, or French, the organization will prefer you for this job role. 

Key Responsibilities

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis position is a national position with local terms and conditions that come with the following duties and responsibilities:

• You will support and manage the FPA team for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting and planning. 
• You will coordinate with financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term solutions.
• You will work on the improvements of the financial process and enhance the framework through timely reporting and working with the team. 
• You will need to build alignment with teams during the period of transformations, and align with the teams. 
• You need to collaborate with finance and IT teams to improve the financial system and data analytics.
• You will communicate with stakeholders, motivate a team, and work on improvements in the financial processes.
• At this position, the council expects you to show five strengths: collaborating, communicating, striving for excellence, taking the lead, and integrity.
• You will report to the Global Finance Director and work under his/her supervision as part of four other managers of the collaborative Finance Leadership team of DRC. 

Interview Dates 

The Danish Refugee Council will shortlist candidates through an interview for the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis position. The candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their CV and cover letter, which they submitted, and the skills and qualifications mentioned in them.
