Eligibility Criteria
The FSC has set the following eligibility conditions for the Program Manager, Supply Chain Integrity, which you can check to ensure if you are eligible for the post or not:
- You must have a university degree or equivalent experience or training in the relevant field, for instance, international relations, management, business administration, governmental relations, forestry, natural resource management, or others.
- You must have 5 years of experience in the same field or the following areas: quality management/ assurance/ control/ certification, forensic investigation, standard development, natural resource management, business administration, certification, accreditation.
- You must understand and be familiar with th \e FSC certification and other FSC schemes.
- You should have experience in FSC auditing, proven management skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills.
- You must have a strong sense of accuracy, diligence, and the ability to hold clients and stakeholders.
- You must have adequate software skills for data visualization and analysis, and be proficient in MS Office tools and Power BI.
- You must be fluent in English; you will get the preference if you know Spanish and French too.
- You must have experience in a multi-cultural global team and leadership skills to manage the diverse groups.
- You would represent FSC with professional and personal conduct and authority and be committed to the FSC mission and responsibilities. ‘
Key Responsibilities
According to the FSC job description, you will be responsible for the following duties at the Program Manager position:
- You will be responsible for the Supply Chain Integrity team and ensure their team’s achievement, development, and others.
- You will decide and manage functional issues of the team and topics related to supply chain integrity.
- You must develop operational processes, tasks, and look after the requirements of the output of the team, such as expertise and knowledge development, and implementation of the supply chain, investigating and monitoring the work process, etc.
- You will coordinate with SCI team members, look after the internal systems and approaches for conducting supply chain integrity, define data requests, and others.
- You will develop and recommend strategic measures, intervene in the FSC supply chain operations, and look after all the operations.
- You will be the bridge or primary contact link for the supply chain integrity concerns and will oversee the integrity concerns.
- You will communicate with the leaders, manage the crisis communication, and handle all inquiries from the stakeholders.
- You will establish and nurture relationships between the System Integrity Unit teams, FSC units, and other partners.
- You will deliver the operations reports to the Board of Directors and prepare items for the decision and others.
- You will engage with the FSC supply Chain integrity, work with external expert forums, and others.
- You will receive records, reports, and other information, and utilize the intelligence from the ground to make effective decisions.
